AECI is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Allen Morgan and Advocate Rams Ramashia as non-executive directors of the Company.
Mr Morgan spent his entire working life at Eskom and he served as this company’s chief executive from 1994 until his retirement in 2000. Other current directorships include Kumba Iron Ore, Imalivest Assets and BioTherm Energy.
Advocate Ramashia is chairman and regional president of BP Southern Africa. Prior to taking up this position in 2004, he was deputy director general director and then director general of the national Department of Labour. He is currently non-executive chairman of South African Petroleum Refinery (SAPREF) and past chairman of the South African Petroleum Industry Association.
Both appointments are effective from 1 July 2010.
