Prevention of environmental risks that could lead to environmental pollution or adverse health effects due to the use of harmful chemical substances will be the focus of chemical substances management. AECI aims to build a foundation for chemical substances management that supports regulatory requirements and enables future growth.

AECI's approach to chemical substances management will be based on a risk assessment of hazardous chemical substances to address impacts related to consumption, emissions, hazards and exposure. This approach essentially ties in the implementation of good product stewardship.
