KFA 5: COMMUNICATION AND AWARENESS

While technical interventions and strategies are critical for the successful implementation and achievement of our Green Gauge targets, it is imperative that such interventions and strategies are accompanied by appropriate social awareness, education and communication campaigns. The main aim of a communication campaign will be to raise awareness about Green Gauge issues in order to facilitate and encourage behavioural changes amongst all AECI staff members.

Visual and physical tools are undeniably vital in ensuring that a message which is heard is retained by association with hard evidence and tools. Therefore, the AECI communication and awareness campaign will ensure that the required material to support the drive of the campaign is also produced for con-current distribution. Printed material that reinforces specific messages and conveys important information relating to behaviour change, environmentally efficient practices and the benefits of these will be drafted, published and disseminated to AECI personnel.
